do u bake the bauer supreme 5090?

i just got my skates today...

was wondering if u also bake the bauer supreme 5090?

i looked at the site of hockey giant and they say that u use a

hair dryer...

is this safer than baking? or is this totally needed or not?

Thats more of a "DO-IT-YOURSELF" way they have told you, but if you want to get them baked then do so

is the 5090 a higher end model?

is it thermoformable?

You can bake them yes and it was the 2nd higest model in the 05 supreme range

my small toe hurts... its scraping the walls of the toe guard...

duct tape for the short term solution... what for a long term one?

besides changing the skates...

Some skates have soft stuff lining the toe cap, maybe use that idea. I'm not sure what materials you could use... maybe pieces of an old sock?
