I don't watch many Pittsburgh games but is Orpik that bad? It seems to me like people only think he tries to disguise himself as a big hitter because of the Cole incident. What are the terms of his contract? Also, defensive defenceman aren't measured on points, seven goals is decent though.

Breaking the neck of another guy with a hit from behind will get you a reputation, that's for sure.

That hit though wasn't fully intentional. He did mean to hit him but not to hurt him. Didn't Cole slip and Orpik I think tryed to pull back a little too late. He is a good hitter though. IMO.

I think Brooks is alright. Personally I'm fine to glad with getting him re-signed at what we got him for.

When he's playing well he does play a big hit type of game.

He's a defensive defensman, we have sergei gonchar to give us the O from the blueline... crap.
