Belfour to Florida

Recommended Posts

Hopefully he doesn't pull an Allison on them, metting all the incentives but not really playing that well in the process. Depending on how he is able to help Auld and how much he ends up making determines whether or not they should have given Legace a set number in the 1-1.5 range and been done with it.

I heard Legace was looking for more of a 3 mil. / year deal. Don´t know about Eddy but I think if he understands his role he could be quite of value to them at this price.

Thats the problem, he won't accept his role if he isn't the clear #1. Look at him in Dallas when Turco turned into the starter.

He did the same thing in Chicago. Hopefully he understands his role and just wants to go out on a better note than last season.

I fear you´re right. I mean it´s got to be frustrating to be a back up to Alex Auld. No less if you´re Ed Belfour but then again he´s at least 10 years past his prime but seems no one told him, yet.

Well its just about time for him to retire, so what better place to play then florida. He wont even have to sell his house when he retires at the end of the year.

Dear Eddie,

please stop inflicting yourself on the hockey world. You have had a fine career, and now it's time to hang 'em up (you've overstayed your welcome).

Thank you and good day,

I meant fine in the best possible way, like a fine wine, or a fine cigar...
