EAGLE X6 Gloves

Recommended Posts

Anyone know anything about these gloves? I went to my LHS today and the reason the price was 109.99 CDN instead of 180 CDN for eagle gloves is because they are made in China and not in Canada. These gloves felt great as unlike the X70's which the X6 models are based on, there are added plastic inserts within the leather which are the slash inserts that are seen in many of the pro stock gloves.

Just wondering if anyone has had these, as I am just curious as to how the palming would hold up.

DO they come in anything other than the Zebra white and black?? Not a big fan of that look, it's neither traditional or "cool" IMHO.

There are several pairs in Olympic color patterns on ebay. I believe they had USA, Canada, Germany and Sweden.

i've never owned x70s but when i tried a pair out they didn't feel much different than my x6's, if anything i thought the x6's felt better. plus they're around half the price most places. my only concern is that after a season there are some strings hanging off of them in random places, the stitching seems to be unraveling but i haven't seen any damage other than the string, nothing seems to be coming off when they unravel. its kind of odd. definitely a solid glove, i'd go for them.
