hockeytim18 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2006 Hey guys I have an older multi effects pedal for guitar. It is a Boss GT-3. I was wondering if anyone knows of a case like a pedalboard for it or one that would fit the pedal without a problem. Thanks
hamstercaster 2 Report post Posted August 2, 2006 I don't know of any but I would assume you may have more success asking that same question on a Boss related forum or search their web site. I know they do make pedal boards and carrying cases for stomp boxes and stuff but I doubt they make such boards and cases for single pedals though unless your GT 3 is the size of a GT 6 or
SickLife 2 Report post Posted August 2, 2006 the skb ps25 is probably your best bet for a pedalboard. the next smaller skb case might fit, but i'm not sure.i actually have one that's been sitting in my basement for like 5 years now if you want to take it off my hands for cheap. Squirrel 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2006 If the GT-3 is anything like the PODxt live (If I remember correctly) your probably going to have a tough time trying to find a board. If your decent with tools at all have you considered building one? Probably considerably cheaper as well. Just a suggestion I'd thought I'd throw out there ;)

Same thing just old.
tuzzifan44 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2006 The gt3 is a great box, I have one myself, and the clean sounds and effects are top notch( even though it is no longer on my board). I built my own 2 level pedal board and just recently wrapped it in carpet. It cost me $100 tops.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted August 4, 2006 I used to make my own boards too. Of course I just transported everything in one box and would velcro the pedals onto the board for practices and gigs.
hockeytim18 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2006 What's the best material to make a board. That will stay durable as long as its less than like $150 I can buy 1 for that. Also are Danlectro I believe thats waht it is are those pedals good. I have one but don't use it. I found one for $150 with 4 or 5 pedals that come with the board. It's on musiciansfriend.com if you guys wanna check it out.
hamstercaster 2 Report post Posted August 4, 2006 You could use plywood, I would say a quarter to a half inch depending on how much you care about weight. Use a nail gun and some wood glue to hold it together. You may want to add commercial carpeting under the board to keep it from sliding away anytime you press on a pedal though. I've never made one but some people I know who made one made them that way. Home maide pedal board are the best as you make it to suit your needs.
