PayPal Troubles

Recommended Posts

I just won an item on Ebay, and I have used Paypal tons of times before.

When I won this auction, all the discriptoins and address's were in English. When I went to pay on Paypal, all of it is in German. (German I think)

Its not like I have my language set there because whenever I just log into Paypal, its in English.

Any Help?

Are you clicking the link from ebay and getting a German site...? What happens if you just go to pp and use the sellers e-mail to send the payment?

Last time I did that, Ebay didnt know I sold it and they gave me like a Deduction or something.

Like you only get 3 strikes.

If you don't use the ebay link you have to go back into My Summary and change the option in the Auction you won and drop it down to Payment Sent....when you use the ebay link that gets done automatically.

Contact the seller.

There are tons of E-bay scams (especially with cars) where they list the item in the US, then mysteriously it ends up that the item is in the UK or something and they will ship upon payment confirmation. In reality, they probably don't even own the car and they just took the images from another listing.

Could be a scam, could be a mix up with the settings...could just simply be the item is in Germany?
