08.10.2006 VALUE-ADDED OFFER FOR EAGLE GOAL EQUIPMENT!

After purchasing one of our senior model goal pads (FUSION or SENTRY), simply have the retailer from where you purchased your pads fill out the back of the hang tag, which is affixed to all new Eagle senior model goal pads. Sign it, staple a copy of your receipt to it, and then send it in to Eagle Hockey.

1) Within 30 days of your purchase, mail in or fax us a copy of the information card and a copy of the store receipt. Upon receiving your completed information card, Eagle will send you a goal pad bag with your name embroidered on it, absolutely free (approximate value $100.00).

2) At the same time, Eagle will register your pads. You will then be able to send the pads back to us one time within two (2) years of the purchase, and we will refurbish your pads free of charge, which includes replacing the bottom binding and trim, patching or hand stitching any skate cuts, and replacing any straps with excessive wear (approximate value $125.00). All we need when you send in the pads back is $15.00 (fifteen dollars) in the currency of the country in which you live to cover return shipping.

Please note: In case you decide to sell or trade in your pads (privately or at a store) before the two (2) years are over, just notify us and let us know the new buyer's name so that the pads can be re-registered under the new owner. Eagle will honour the remaining time on the refurbishing program.

3) Receive three (3) editions of The Goalie News (a GDI Publication) absolutely free!

It is really nice to hear and have them put into print; the policies they have basically been honoring if you asked. Eagle has amazing customer service and puts out an amazing product. It is nice to see a company that backs their product like this. Eagle is a company that is confident in their product. You just don't see a company with customer service this well that is as well known as eagle.

Or you could look at this the Tommy Boy way.

Tommy: Let's think about this for a sec, Ted, why would somebody put a guarantee on a box? Hmmm, very interesting.

Ted Nelson, Customer: Go on, I'm listening.

Tommy: Here's the way I see it, Ted. guy puts a fancy guarantee on a box 'cause he wants you to fell all warm and toasty inside.

Ted Nelson, Customer: Yeah, makes a man feel good.

Tommy: 'Course it does. Why shouldn't it? Ya figure you put that little box under your pillow at night, the Guarantee Fairy might come by and leave a quarter, am I right, Ted?

Ted Nelson, Customer: What's your point?

Tommy: The point is, how do you know the fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy, well, we're not buying it. He sneaks into your house once, that's all it takes. The next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser and your daughter's knocked up, I seen it a hundred times.

Ted Nelson, Customer: But why do they put a guarantee on the box?

Tommy: Because they know all they solda ya was a guaranteed piece of shit. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me.

Ted Nelson, Customer: [pause] Okay, I'll buy from you.

Tommy: Well, that's... What?
