Has anyone had their account/card charged yet? The charge still hasnt showed up on my credit card yet. Maybe its just the weekend but that stuff usually shows up right away.

I believe the site said it takes 2 buisness days to verify the card

I called them to order, however in less than 1 day, my card bounced back due to it expiring the day before. Web orders probably won't process until tomorrow.

It sounds like you got a s@*ty deal with your exp. date on your card hope they do something nice for ya, I know I would be pissed. Let me know what they do for you.

Just got a call from HOCKEY MONKEY: the shafts there was a glich in the system all shafts are 39.99 each, no deals on buying more then one no speacials at all!!!

would like to know what they said to you. The girl who phoned me sure didn't seem to apolagitic about the problem

That is straight from the HM site, I'm thinking if thats what was paid at the time of purchase they can't go back on that price, am I right? I mean, it seems to me that they're going back to make more profit. It's not like they accidently put a different price. At one point they were clearly marked with multiple prices for different quantities. It's not like they accidentally marked one shaft down as a different price. I don't know, this whole deal is starting to make me very leery of HM and their buisnes practices.

If they haven't processed your card then the sale hasn't been finalized and they can contact you and tell you that the price was incorrect. If your card has already been charged, then they should honor the price you paid.

I got the call and am now waiting for a call back from the manager. The deal I've been offered is 3 at the price of $29 a shaft. I do remember that at one point there was a 3 for $59 deal, so I'm thinking that they might not've realized these shafts would be so popular and are now trying to make as much as they can off the "glitched" orders. The shafts are going to be re-listed for $39, with no mulitple purchase deals. I'm still planning on taking the 3 shafts, but I'm going to cause as big a fuss as I can and suggest everyone else do the same.

I'm trying to get a free blade out of this for taking the shafts at 3 for $29 each. I forgot to order a blade so I figure I'll try get a wood Synthesis ($25), subtract that $25 from what will be a new $90 total, you get $65 dollars, and that $65 would be the same as ordering the 3 shafts for $41 + $25 blade.

Well, its kind of a rough choice for me. Like, I bought 7 shafts at $20, so if they offer 29.99 its another $70. I also bought blades for each shaft so the price goes wayyy up. Let me know how the blade thing goes, I wouldn't mind some compensation after all this BS.

First. I was originally charged $20/per It wouldn't bother me if they said it was a problem but it was the price on the order confirmation. It's just now they're trying to get 200% of what they originally charged me.

Second. Catch the haha. I was kidding around about the line about msh. Sorry if you couldn't catch the joke.

Third. I've had problems with them before. This headache was just the last straw for me.

I think everyone who ordered needs or should all complain and try to work out something similar of a deal like try and keep them close to there original deal.

Well i got the call to....i told them i'd at least want an upgrade in shipping which they did. They cut the shipping price in half...wasent that great but the shaft with shipping is still a deal.

The manager, Summer, called me back and gave me the 3 shafts at $19 each. I asked about their policy of no price adjustments, as greech posted, and she said on the site there is also a disclaimer saying they can adjust misprinted prices (as Thockey said). I'm a little disappointed at this but I still got a great deal with the 3 shafts for $60.

I just got the message from HM too. I ordered 3 for 59 dollars. Is there any chance that they'll honor this price if I bring up their no price adjustments policy like ice dog28 did?

No, because the no price adjustment policy was counteracted by the misprint one. Although I did hypothetically ask that if I had bought a pair of skates that then went on sale before my credit card was charged, would I get them for the sale price? And she said most likely no, so I asked how she could raise the price after I ordered them, and responded with the misprint clause. Altough I see no reason you cant get your shafts 3/$59, because that's the deal she gave me.

I don't know if you should do that, just in case she decides to revoke my deal haha. But if they try to raise the price I'd be very persistent in trying to get the best deal possible; see what the lowest they can possibly go per shaft, ask about gift certificates, lower shipping prices (she offered $24.99 per shaft with $5 handling), or any other throw-in you can think of. Although it seems like 3/$59 is the lowest they can go, so I really don't see why they'd call you.

From my understanding the problem isn't in the 3/$59, but more the 3/$29, and when you add to your cart it is actually 3 shafts for a total of $29.

Just talked to Summer(mngr) she is giving me the the shafts for 20 but only the eithers(flyweights) not the hex-1 and has cut my shiping in half $20 from $40 (Canada)

so all in all I feel okay with how I was treated.

I mean $20 bucks for a flyweight not bad!

Hmm, I didn't even think about the type of shaft. I did buy 3 Flyweights, so that may be why I got them for $20 each.
