No Sound in YouTube (Flash)

I dont know why but recently sound stopped working in Flash based apps like YouTube and that little video that shows up on the right side of the ESPN homepage. Ive viewed a ton of forum threads on the issue but none of their solutions seem to work for me. I have Flash 9s latest version and have tried in both IE and Firefox. Anyone know what the problem is and how it can be fixed? Thanks.
