One70 gloves - repalming issues

Recommended Posts

To all of the LHS experts:

I was looking at a pair of Bauer One70 gloves. They are really nice but I noticed that there is an extra piece of leather that extends from the palm to the area between the thumb and the index finger. I'm 99% sure it all for show with no real functional purpose.

My question is about the eventual repalming of this glove. Can it still be repalmed, given that there is an extra piece? I would assume that they will just separate that piece from the palm area and stitch the palm to that extra piece, but I thought I would ask the people who know...

Thanks

All that peice does it re-inforce your palm. My Eagles have them too. I have no gripes about them at all.
