quick opinoin on pro tack pants

im talking about last year's model, any opinion is good, esp regarding the hip protection

my other choice is the 6k from rbk

Pro tack pants are tanks. So if you're looking for protection, they'll take care of you. With so much protection, they would likely weigh a bit more though -- especially if you compare them to the 6k as that is one step below RBK's top of the line pant.

Based on another thread on Mod, I learned CCM is one of the most widely used pants in the NHL. I still use my old CCM Supra pants that are holding up just fine.

Again, you are comparing differnt models of pants though.

Pro Tack = RBK 8k

RBK 6k = 852 or 892 Tack
