there's no such thing as a cheap tapered blade

The cheapest you'll find are probably the Synthesis wood blades which I think they're the Synergy II blades now. They go for about $25.

oh thats not so bad. hopefully the shop has one when i pick up the shaft tonite. thanks.

They don't seem to be widely distributed yet, but Mission made a price-point tapered shaft/blade combo called the Z-2. Might be able to find these blades around somewhere. Hockeymonkey and I think Hockeygiant have the shaft+2blade combo for around $130, I figure that'll have the blades going for what, $30-35 each?

Aslo, see if Hockeymonkey has anything you like in the 7500 wood blade. they're on closeout, and I don't know if there's any lest, but worth a shot. Last resort would be a mission ether blade at HM or 1800 faceoff. Last I saw they only had lefties.

The 7500 blade was a fantastic blade, just the curve I had I didn't like. If it was a Sakic I would have LOVED it, I think I'm going to pick up a Synergy 2 wood blade though. I miss my L-2 :(

TPS R2 Nash/Messier curves are still available at HockeyGiant both right and left handed. Great tapered wood blades.
