Help with ringtones.

I just purchused a USB cable for my phone and I have no idea how to use it to get ringtones onto my phone. What program should I use to edit ringtones and add them to my phone. What do you guys use. I dont know if programs are model specific but I have a Audiovox 8910.

download a mp3 editior and crop out a part you want to use and download it to the phone

if u can find the right usb cable for that kind of phone. i doubt it but it might work
