ducks vs kings preseason game

Recommended Posts

i missed about half the game so i'm not 100% on this but as far as i can remember, they didn't dress parros, blake, cammalleri, cowan, or frolov. not sure about giuliano or gleason either. labarbara was in net.

obviously both teams were trying out some guys from their minor teams but it seemed like the ducks played even less of their stars - no fedoruk, kunitz, marchant, mcdonald, moen, selanne, scott niedermayer, or pronger. giguere and bryzgalov traded off in net.

saw a few fights but nothing too exciting.

did see something funny though. somebody goes to clear the puck high and off the glass, and as its going up, it just drops all of a sudden...real weird bounce. then i realized what happened - one of the photographers cameras was sticking a little too far out of the little hole cut in the glass, and the puck nailed it and came straight down. apparantly he broke his lens or something, as he kept trying to get the refs and ice girls attention to look for pieces of it.

i'm sure these scores aren't too indicative of how the actual season will go but i'll let you all know how they do against the sharks tomorrow night and the canucks on friday...

There is no need for that. All those interested in finding out the score can go to TSN or ESPN and look for themselves.

I think he means hes going to tell us in detail, kind of like what he did today..

Petr Nedved whacked the camera directly behind the net with a shot a few years ago when he was playing for the Rangers. made for a really cool view when you could see the puck coming straight for the camera, and then it went all fuzzy.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but if someone is really that interested in a preseason game then they can go a site devoted to that team. If its a regular season game that has some meaning or something eventful happened, thats one thing. But giving team reports on a game to game basis isn't necessary here. It isn't like anything spectacular happened in that game, and the last thing we need is 20 threads a night discussing every preseason game in thesis-like detail.
