OK i was just wondering.I have an old graf ks 7000 lying around in the basement. Is it worth buying a new blade and extension? Thanks

You should be able to answer that yourself? Do you want to try it out? If so buy a cheap would blade and extension.

If I remember right branches made those and branches was known for making really good shafts, so why not try it?

We sold a ton when they first came out. I don't think any of them lasted more than a couple months at best.
