also known as powerflex tape. I used to get it at play it again sports. you tape your stick like normal, then put a wrap of this stuff on. start at the butt end, go down and cap it off

with a strip of regular tape. jagr, yzerman, modano and several more use it.

its very sticky and will dye your palms and wear them down faster. the adhesive will rub off onto your palms and you will see small colour dots of glue. the stuff that the pros use is even more textured and burns through palms, but they have the luxury of getting gloves whenever they need

the stuff I got had no adhesive and was not sticky at all just a good texture grip to it.

It was more like a gause(sp) strip and was very strechy, it clinged to its self and didn't stick to the shaft you had to put a small strip of reg tape at the bottom the get it to stay.

ah I can't remember the name of it, the only crappy thing about it was that it was red and staind my palms.

powerflex tape is actually just a type of self-adhesive medical tape... if you go on a medical supply website, you can buy it buy the box for pretty cheap... hockey store's mark up the price to make it seem special... i love using it, but it will wear out quickly and depending on how much you play it might need replaced as much as once a week...

After 2 games, I started to notice a bit of wear on my new gloves so I switched to one of those Command Grips. I have the One90 gloves, so I don't know if it is the tape that actually did it or because the palms are so thin to begin with.

I l ike the COmmand Grips. I was using the Powerflex tape. I was using red tape. I do remember reading something awhile back about the color tapes and how they tend to break down the glove more or faster than the white tape.
