Bauer 5000 vs CCM 1052

any major difference between these 2 helmets?

weight, protection, comfort

I have a Bauer 5000 helmet. today at my LHS, while waiting for my skates to be sharpened, I was checking out the CCM 1052 helmets.

at first glance, they seem a little "tougher" than the Bauer 5000...I mean the way the helmet is constructed and all.

anywho, is it worth switching from the Bauer to CCM?

the 1052 are defenantly heaver and more protection than the 5000. The bottem line is get the one that fits your head better.

1052 is pretty wide, make sure its snug enough.
