Pro Stock Sticks - Better/Different than retail?

Are pro stock sticks considered somehow better than retail? Worse? Other than having a custom curve for the pros, are they made differently at all?

An unrelated question - is there any difference between the TPS Adrenaline and Adrenaline control other than the grip? I notice that on HockeyGiant the price difference is about $60, which would seem unjustified if the only difference is the grip.

Early on (when the Synergy first came out) there were obvious differences between pro and retail models but I think it's leveled off. I'm one of the people that prefer pro stock because of the curves and flex options and not because of a difference in production/quality.

many people claim that there was a difference in feel between retail and pro stock sticks. i have not noticed this across the board but i will say that the pro stock sl that i used was/is definately nicer in the feel department than the retail ones i have used.

some prostock SLs have the si-core insert in them. (they're selling them on hockeymonkey) Then again, im not sure I buy into the si core tech anyway.

Dude If you are a pro They will make you just about anything.

I mean China & Mexico
