CCM/RBK SkateLock

I used PF 8 inline skates and was shocked how low their durability was. Soft toe-cap. I loved the Skatelock though. Now I am looking for a Mission or Tour boot that offers something similar. THC doesn't seem to care about making quality toe-caps for inline. The Mission skates feature something called "DNA3" that allows you to lace the skates tight on the boot and soft on the top. Can someone tell if this system allows you to "lock" the laces on the forefoot section?

My LHS do not run Mission skates and I would have to order them. The photos on the internet do not help much so if anyone could help me out, I would be happy :)

as far as i know no other company uses anything similar to a lace lock.

btw this should probably be in the roller hockey forum.
