LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 After taking a year off ice and only playing roller my shoulder pads just seem so big and bulky. It seems like now all that they have is big and bulky and the sherwood classics lol. Im looking for a low profile protective shoulder pad in a size medium. Any suggestions. LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 Lol I dont think its a good idea to cut off the shoulder caps. I play full contact hockey.
flood 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 So did I and I cut the caps off, as long as there is some padding underneath your fine.... Well that might be bad advice but the best shoulder pad I've found that I didn't feel was to bulky were bauer classics so i'd take a look at those.
lesterhenson 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 You might want to look into to last years easton models. I have a pair of the 500's and they seem rather low-profile.
AnthonyJTa 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 look for the ITech SP50... perfect for pickup, or rec league games.
jimmy 194 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 Just get use to them.. Unless they are hampering your movement, "big and bulky" is not really a reason to ditch or alter them.
