Players Salaries

Recommended Posts

I know that all players compensations are listed on NHLPA.com...but is there a way to find out what guys on AHL contracts (or on 2-ways) are making...?

If it is anywhere, it would be at PHPA.com.

I looked there...and didn't see anything...altough (as my GF tells me) I'm notorious for not looking as hard as I should for things.

When you click on "Players" you get a Member sonly part of the site for PA Members that requires a password.

Well, I have friends in the AHL, ECHL, and over in the British Elite League.

A salary-between 45-130 thousand, depending on a few factors, mostly rookie vet etc... thats for a 2 way salary though.

E salary- between 450 and 1100 per week

British League is similar, after conversion.

So a guy that is listed an NHL roster making 450,000+ (NHL salary) is getting that if he is playing in the A...but not if he is on a 2-way. He would have 2 rastes of pay...an NHL rate, and an AHL rate?

Thats the way I've always understood it to be.

yup, nhl salary in show only, when you are in the A you get your A rate, its quite a difference. Buddy last year got 31 games in the show, at 600,000, then the rest of the year making 55,000 averaged over a weekly basis.

Laughing about the difference in all the luxuries beyond just the 545000.
