Graf 707 can anyone elaborate on this skate

So I was just browsing and I read about the Graf 707 skate and how its supposed to develop proper skating technique. I also read that skates today are too stiff for and are causing more harm then good (improper skating techniques, increased muscle strain)

Now from what I understand the 707 is soft around the ankles, wouldn't that cause you to be much slower ?

Also has anyone used these skates ? and if so can you provide some feedback...

similar concept to the Mission S/AG series. As long as it is stiff around your foot, it doesn't need to be stiff around your ankle. Evidently Mr Graf is a very big believer in the concept.

the skates for an elite skate aswell, for someone who has good stride extension and is very strong overall on there skates since the top 3 eyelots are not actually attached to the skate it provides alot more ankle flex then any other skate due to this. Now it was also designed for people who had ankle injurys and there ankles were swollen meaning most boots may be too shallow for them in the ankle bone area so thats why there is this bit of padding on the ankle part that has the eyelots overotp not together
