One90 skates

Recommended Posts

My Grafs are getting soft. I've read a lot about the One90, found the cost prohibitive, but once I tried on a few pairs and realized I would fit a Jr skate, thereby saving me tons of money, I got a lot more interested. But after reading about 30 threads on this skate, include JR's and DS50's reviews, I never saw one question answered.

Who is the One90 skate designed for ? Is it a skate mostly for the high-end player, or can regular beer-leaguers (like me) also benefit from its technology ?

Also, power-skating coaches have told us that we should leave the top eyelet or two undone. I've done that with my Grafs, but have read that the One90 affords a lot of forward flex. So is this still good advice for this skate ? The reason I ask is that I assume I should be sizing skates tied the same way they would be tied when playing.

TIA.

Who is the One90 skate designed for ? I would say either the adult player who's feet are done growing and wants a high quality skate or someone who has the $$ for it.
