Nylon or Leather Gloves

I had worn leather gloves exclusivly up until the last 5 years.I've udes both and I like the lighter weight of the nylon. That said, I'm using leather gloves right now. I would not rule out a glove based on the shell material alone if I was in the market for another pair.

Aren't most gloves not even made with real leather? Even a $200 Eagle glove's portofino material is synthetic. Correct me if I'm wrong please. ;)

i just got my first pair of nylons (vapor XXX) and i find they breathe a lot better than my leather eagles (or any other leathers ive had for that matter) i sweat a lot and they dry much quicker. but the biggest reason i like them has to be how cool they keep my hands.

This is really interesting to read. I am 38, and when I was younger, Nylon gloves were for the kids whose parents were on. lets say, a stricter budget. All the cool kids had leather gloves.

When I went to buy new gloves last year, I didnt even think twice about trying on, let alone buying nylon gloves. Ended up with the Vector pro's.

But reading through this thread, I may have missed the boat...LOL

I prefer synthetic leather. I'm in love with my white Eagle x50's that ive had for years. They are just as light as nylon, or its negligible.

I mix business with leather for my Mission 10000's. I just like the feel and look of them.

My nylons SMU easton 14" are lighter then my old 11" easton ultra lite leathers, more flexible and I guess leather more durable but I play houseleague and im not hard on any of my equipment.
