ICMs

Picked up a pair of used (obviously) ICM holders the other day. They look good except for some rust on the blades, but lots of steel. From what I understand there are ICMs with good steel and ICMs with bad, if true, is there any way to tell which I got?

They say "Comp" near the heel and the Patend says 1978 (!).

i might have a set that i put on my 1090's I'll have to check the length

I have a set of 254 mounted on my old 1090's that have minimal use after i replaced them only 1 puck mark. i can send pics if your interested
