Dolomite one piece, turning it into two piece

Recommended Posts

I tried the search tool but i couldnt really find what i was looking for, but i think i read it some where on here. Is it possible to heat the blade of a dolomite one piece and pull the blade out? If so could some one tell me how its done. Ive heard of the blade just flying out but i have an old one piece i dont use and im trying to get the blade.

Heat it up at the fuse point, the blade should come out pretty easily since the blades come loose on the dolomite alot.

I would use a knife and cut away at some of the epoxy in the fuse point before you start heating it up though, might make it alot easier to come out.

Can you do this on other sticks as well... i have the 7k sickick and i like the curve i have but the stick its self has got to go

I have a 7K Sickick and there is no way the blade could be removed without cutting it off.

By the way, what dont you like about yours. I love mine, the only downside is its almost broken after 10 ice times, but it has lasted longer so far than 4 other 7K/6K RBKs I got a couple months ago.

I tried with my prostock L-2 (basically an M-1 painted red) and couldn't get it to budge. I wound up cutting about 2 1/2" above the fuse point and now I have a synthesis blade in it with a strip of tape on the tenon.

innovative designed thier sticks with a fuse point so you could heat it up and take out the blade. They sold them as one-pieces though. Sort of like the L-2.

I'm guessing warrior is doing something similar to that because the sticks are the same.

I removed the blade from my XN10 with a lot of difficulty. It was my first time doing it so that might explain the difficult part.
