Bauer XV blades in non-Vapor XV shafts

I searched for this topic and couldn't find anything exactly relevant:

I just picked up a Bauer XV blade on ebay-- my assumption was that it wouldn;t be hard to locate an XV shaft to go with it, they seemed to have been going for dirt cheap on Hockey monkey and/or Hockey Giant a couple months ago, but now they're scarce as hen's teeth. This listing from an online outlet claims that XV blades will only work with XV shafts:

it doesn't sound right-- I'd think I could easily plug it into my synthesis shaft. Is that totally inaccurate?

perhaps they mean that it will only fit tapered shafts. There should not be a problem with a synthesis shaft.

My buddy had a synthesis blade in a XV shaft, so I see no reason why a XV blade wouldn't fit in a synthesis or any tapered shaft for that manner.

You should be fine, my buddy had an innovative 1100 tapered shaft and his XV blade fit in it. As long as its tapered it will work and if its senior + senior etc.

Ironicly the XV blade and shaft aren't perfect fits either, so any other tapered shaft should be just as good.

Because it's a manufactures description, they're only going to mention their own shafts. Same thing with the description of other brands of tapered blades.

I've got 2 in other brand shafts right now.
