Stick warranties

Warranty Question:

I am a left-handed shot playing left defence. The ring winger dumps the puck in the corner behind me and I turn to go and retrieve it. I get there a second or so ahead of the winger and he hits me along the boards as I clear the puck out off the boards. In the process, he hits my stick and it breaks two thirds of the way up the shaft. Is me stick covered under warranty or not?

Note: This has happended twice to me. At the start of the season, my two week old SL was replaced while last weekend at a tournament the same thing happened to a warranty replacement XXX Lite.

It will usually be replaced but it is not a manufacturing defect.
