Easton Forsberg to Warrior Fedorov?

Recommended Posts

Can someone who's made the change from Easton Modano/Forsberg curve to the Warrior Fedorov curve please comment on your experience? I ask because the lie is labeled as being different. I used a Synthesis Modano composite blade, and am now using a wood Christian Pro pattern that is nearly identical. It's almost time to replace the wood blade and want to go back to composite. I've been satisfied with the Easton composite blades, but I'm also interested in the new Warrior Dolo 2 blades.

Will I feel a difference in the lie from the Easton Forsberg to the Warrior Fedorov?

TIA.

You should feel the difference

What will I feel? How will it affect my play? I'm a forward, I'm 6'4", my Sythesis shaft is uncut and the endplug is in. I rarely, if ever, take slapshots. Almost all my shots are wristers. I'm probably a below average stickhandler. I'm a decent skater (read: bend my knees and full stride :) ).

Check the wear on the bottom of your blade. If most of the wear is in the middle of the blade on your Forsberg it will be near the toe on the Fedorov. If that is the case, you may notice pucks slipping under the heel on passes or when stickhandling. If the wear is near the heel on your Forsberg, the Fedorov will be better for you.
