Ive only played roller hockey my whole life and im about to start playing ice hockey and was wondering if these skates are any good.hockey store

Pro Tacks are great skates. My uncle swears by them. He literally bought 10 pairs, and claims he will never ever wear a different skate. I personally really like them too. Stiff, and fairly light, with great protection.

i have the exact same skates...the only thing i did was take off the holders and threw on some lightspeeds :D never been happier with a pair of skates in my life although i did come from a pair of externo 20's..... so if ur tacks kind of guy that'd probally be the best skate for you offered in the tacks line. also make sure to get them baked because they are some stiff mofo's...

Awesome skates! In my opinion, one of the best skates currently available on the market. The are very stiff and provide exceptional protection. I've been using mine for over a year now and they are still holding up with no problems...durability seems to be good. They are very light. Grab a pair if you can.

Some places like Cyclone Taylor are blowing them out at 50% off.

If i were you guys id wait till next years, rumor has it that they are bringing them back for next year better and improved

CCM isn't planning on a new Tacks model until after this upcoming season from what I understand. So if you're in the market now for quality skates, get the Pro Tacks. Or you can wait it out and pay a huge premium for the new and "improved" tacks.
