tryandstopme 35 Report post Posted December 22, 2006 I know its a longshot, but does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Kuzak Split Chassis in the adult small/short size? New, used, or otherwise I'm interested. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have a search set up to email me anytime that any combination of "kuzak/split/frame/chassis" pops up.

tryandstopme 35 Report post Posted December 28, 2006 http://cgi.ebay.com/KUZAK-DUAL-SPLIT-TECH-...1QQcmdZViewItemhere you go, new listingsd, good looking out! thanks for that. those frames aren't like the ones i remember having back when i owned a pair tho. the ones i used to have just said "kuzak split technology" and were red on the bottom. no mention of the dual split tech, and they definitely weren't able to fit a 72/80mm setup. the reason i liked the original frames so much is because on a hi-lo setup i've always used 68/76mm (even on my mission 7500's before the frame cracked) and they were designed specifically for that wheel setup and had a nice tight wheelbase and were really low profile. if the version in that auction is able to fit a 72/80mm they must have changed the design, and pretty much have just done a well made traditional hi-lo and aren't unique like the first frames. thankfully i've got a pair of skates that i'm using and the search for the kuzak split isn't grounding me from playing. i'm going to keep my eye out and see if i can score one of the original frames. again, thanks for looking out for me, i really appreciate it. mrciv 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2006 the old kuzak frames u were able to use 72/80mm as well u just had to grind or dremel down a little bit of the cross frame member between the back 2 wheels i know as i have like 2 sets of these frames and i used to skate the 68/76mm but after awile just didnt have the speed. i know the old kuzak owner chris miller and that newer chrome blue is basically the same as the old just with different color/graphics and a thinner cross member so u didnt have to grind or dremel it out. They took 68/76mm wheels and were branded CCM but said by KUZAK on the chassis graphics.
