Bauer Vapor VIII OPS

Just wondering if anyone of you guys have used it and what you think of it in terms of performance and durability.

I got the NBH V2...same stick just without that 'slash protection' and semi-different curve/flex options, but like I say, it's esssentially the same. I would say it's not bad, seems to have good durability so far even without the VIII's extras. Performance wise, it's ok, not outstanding, but isn't a piece of crap either...but it does have a pretty good feel. The 77 flex seems to have added a little kick to my shot as compared to when I was using a stiffer stick. I got it for $50, and the VIII was like $15 more...idk if the $15 is worth it though as the whole extra protection thing is debateable. I would recommend the V2 though if your on a budget and the VIII wouldn't be too bad either.

some info here, I remembered this thread so I did a search for "vapor VIII" (with the quotations) and the only other thread dedicated to this stick was cluttered with "you can get a XX/XXX for like 10 bux more!" Which is true, if you can find your curve flex.

Hockeygiant has endures for $99, and last I checked they still had some decent patterns in stock.

a guy on my team had one... he broke it his first time using it...took it back and got replacement for it and its been going strong since.

the first one was prolly just a bad stick.
