warped shaft, OPS

I have a few OPS and shafts at home right now that are warped on the forhand side, im just curious to know if anyone has unwarped it using a head source or some other kinda of device. I know for shafts you turn them around.. meaning the warranty paragraph on the stick will be facing upwards but how do you prevent it, and how or can you take it out or atleast minimize the warp(s).
