RBK 6K blade in Synthesis shaft

Tonight I put a 6K blade in my Synthesis shaft. It didn't exactly fit. I ended up with 1 layer of tape over the wide part of the tenon and 2 layers over the narrow. I started with the single layer on the wide part. That was ok, but then there was play front to back. The first layer of tape didn't fix it so I put a 2nd on. I just wanted to put this out there for the next guy/gal to prevent them from having to install the blade 4 times before it fits correctly.

Anyone else have similar experiences, with either tapered or standard shaft/blade combos from different manufacturers?

RBKs seem to be thinner than the others. Also, the edges are round. Next time you see a RBK shaft you'll see what I mean.
