If they aren't that good can i get a recommendation on a skate under 300?I recently got new CCM Vector 6.0's...I'm quite happy with them. What age & level of hockey are you? That may affect some people's opinion.

chk hrd 164 Report post Posted January 8, 2007 What does everyone think of these skates. If they aren't that good can i get a recommendation on a skate under 300?my 12 year old son who plays PeeWee AA used the 5k for about a year without any problems. He skates 4-5 times a week. The boots and blade holders are still in good shape and he has never had a problem with the pump. The only reason he doesn't skate in them anymore is because he outgrew them. IMHO they are a very good middle of the line skate.
AnthonyJTa 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2007 I had the 5K for about a year. I loved them, really comfy skate and they held up fine. My only issue was I'm a beginner, and I'ma pretty big dude (pushing 255lbs- trying to slim down).. so the boot was a little soft for me.
