I've had mine for close to a year and have had no problems. I always make sure to deflate them after every use and even before I put them on.

I´ve had a pair of CCM 752 pumps fore 8 years and had no problems with them. I think that Fury of One is right make sure to deflate them after use.

Finally skated on them on Friday night for about 90 mins no pains what so ever, could of lasted all night on them... best skates I've had to date.

As for the pump feature I like it all does give the tighter feeling arond the ankles and when it felt loosening just pumped it up some more, alot faster then undoing the boots and tying them back up. The guys from the pro shop advises to deflate the pump after every use and even b4 lacing them up and should not have any problems with them breaking ( the warranty on the pump is only 3 months)
