which curve

Recommended Posts

i use the forsberg curve and ive noticed that my stick hadling is alot better than before when i used the european curve

i was wondering wat other blade would be good for stickhandling and getting a hard quick shot

i was thinking sakic, iginla, or heatly , correct me if im wrong

and does anyone know wat curve evgeni malkin uses

if there was a curve that was defaultly good for stickhandling and quick hard shots don't you think everyone would be using it?

i prefer the iginla, its one of my favorite curves out there, but like everyone will say, what works for me wont necessarily work for you...

i think malkin uses a big mid curve with a round toe, pretty much a sakic clone of some sort, but im not positive about that... so far ive seen him using dolomites, xxx lites and now he's using one90's and i havent seen a great picture of the curve on any of them...

Don't worry about what the pros use, just try a lot of different patterns until you settle on one. In the past couple months I've used:

- Lidstrom

- Warrior Smyth

- TPS Sundin

- Sakic

- P88 Lindros

- PM9 St. Louis

- CCM Lecavalier

I finally settled on the Lecavalier because I like how it performed for me in all areas. My advice is to try lots of different patterns until you find the one for you.

Also, don't get hung up on what pros use: me using Sami Salo's stick will not give me a 100mph accurate slap shot, nor will using Markus Naslund's stick give me a wicked wrister.

Hard quick shot comes from technique. The forsberg is a good curve, solid. I started with a Jokinen, went to the forsberg and improved my stickhandle. Currently I am diggin the coffey.

from what i have seen..Malkin's blade resembles a P88 Lindros but like previously said..find your own curve and do not just mimics what your heroes use because they might have a different shooting style or body type
