Glove Sizing

Recommended Posts

I bought Eagle X5's (13"). Are the X6 a full inch longer in the fingers? The X5 are a little snug, I just feel like I need maybe a little more room and I am deciding whether I should return them for the X6, or would those be too big. I ordered online because the LHS doesn't carry them. What do you think?

No. The glove is 1" longer overall. Probably 1/4" longer in the fingers, the rest in the backrolls and cuff.

Could I get the quick and dirty glove sizing guide? i did a search but there is way too much "glove" out there!! Should the fingers come to the end of the glove? I currently use a Louisville TPS Bionic in a 14" and my fingers are about 1/4 inch short. They do extend to my elbow pads, but I tried on a CCM Vector in a 13" that also went to the forearm protection of my elbow pads and my fingers went to the end. They were a little tight. I tried on a Warrior 13" ( forgot which ones) and they were wider. So what's the bottom line on glove fit from your experiances. Thanks!!!

personal preference. if it feels good, it is good. about as quick and dirty as it gets.

the 1/4" you have at the end of your fingers shouldn't really affect performance. some guys like loose gloves, some like 'em tight.

Thanks for the reply D.L. My TPS Bionics are loose, I think that is my problem with them. As far as protection to my elbow pads, I have tried both 13 and 14 inch gloves that do the trick. As long as I hear that nobody has been injured because their gloves fit tight, I am okay.
