Mission Girdles.

Im looking to buy a new girdle as I have had mine for years and its to small. Im looking at the Mission Thorax or Thorax advantage. In the UK they only sell the Advantage or 7500 I can get it from there or I can order one from the states and sent to my aunt who can send it to me.

So what im asking is which one is better? I no its alot about PP but im just after opinions.

I have the Thorax - absolutly love it, i bought it because i was looking for something that isnt full with padding - you dont need it for inline, and something that is light and non restrictive. - thats exactly what it gives you...i couldnt be happier with it.

from what i understand, the advantage is pretty much the same, but it offers a bit more protection - especially in the kidney area, so i guess it depends on what your looking for.

where did you get your thorax from?? I mite just get the advantage cheap cos i work in a hockey shop and cut the kidney protection off. I find it just gets in the way.

With the Thorax Advantage, you actually can take the foam out of the kidney, which will still give you more protection on the legs, while giving you the option to put in or take the kidney pads.

Both are great girdles...I never wore a girdle, till we came out with these...

I've been wearing the same mission girdle for the past 5 years. great product, and I believe their thorax and thorax advantage would be miles above what I've got now... looks pretty good as well... maybe its time to get something new...

I use the thorax andvantage. I was using a mission status girdle from a million years ago and the velcro on the girdle started eating pants so I had to ditch it. The thorax advantage is incredible. So light and bobile. If I needed another I would buy one in a heart beat

I've got a Thorax girdle and I highly recommend it over any other girdle. I just love the increased mobility. However, I would suggest not removing the side hip pads. I initially removed them to decreased the weight, but have found the hip padding to be a lifesaver.
