All-star disappointment.

To be honest, i have not read all threads about the all-star game and sorry if this one is not appropriate, already stated, etc. I just think a thread about bicthing the all-star event is nescessary. If you loved it, this may not be the place to share. But do it anyway.

So...

I've watch both days of the all-star game. It was BORING! The game was not that bad but everything else was really bad. The rookie game almost got me into a deep sleep and the skills competition, which I tought would be exciting, was a total flop. Why didn't they do the fastest lap 2 by 2? What the hell was that 3 vs the goalie thing. So many people on the ice? I have a lot more questions. Anyway, it sucked, for the most part..

I may elaborate a little more on my point tommorow but i think this all-star week was bad for the first one in 3 year. Do you think hockey can really be popular in the states with this kind of event?

Oh...and old all-stars shoudld play a role in this event. I think Gretzky, Lemieux, Messier, Yzerman, etc, if they agree, should participate in this event in some way.

Gary Bettman, or RBK, think they are going to bring hockey to a new life with new gear? Nice try, but i think the problem is a little deeper.
