Skate Repair Question

I received a cut on the inside top of one one my skates last week from someone else's skate.

The cut is above the top eyelet and not too deep but it's right near the corner of the plastic on the ankle. I want to try to keep the cut from getting worse and I've tried to crazy glue the 2 parts back together but it looks like that area moves around too much for that to hold.

Does anyone know anything that I could use to keep the cut from spreading?

If you have a piece of leather around, you can patch on the outside and the inside to hold it together. Or, take it to a shoe repairer.

It's only a slice so it's not big enough for a patch. plus there isn't really anything in the area to stitch it to.
