Switching from black to chrome cage

unfortunatly, im not into the itech "box" look.

I use the Itech RBE VIII (yes, that's an 8) i2 cage that is white inside and black outside. It is more of a bubble shape than the RBE III.

I've never been able to get used to wearing a cage, but one day when I get smart I will, and when that day comes I may probably wear a lacrosse cage. I know two guys that wear different versions / designs with a lot less bars in their view. Why isn't this more of an accepted option?

Yeah that's an option, if they made it light enough. Obviously sticks and pucks could still get through, but the visibility is nice.

I rocked a cat's eye cage for a few months like the one pictured. Excellent visibility and breathability. But obviously negligible protection. Also wouldn't be good in a tussle either.
