Let's not forget the entire sport of professional soccer.

I am pretty sure that the entire sport of professional soccer has been forgotten, had it not been for the fifa video games being so awesome and maybe the world cup, nobody in north america would give a flying f**k about soccer

I heard somewhere that when Gretzky was playing he liked a certain model of discontinued skate, I don't know if it was Daoust or what for sure but he found a bunch somewhere and bought them all. If I remember correctly it was around 150-200 pairs of skates. I always thought that that was funny because I figured a player like him could get any company to make what ever he wanted anytime he wanted it. And my wife complains that I have collected a total of 7 pairs of skates over about 15-20 years and none of them are really top of the line high end skates.

No, that was Yanic Perreault. He bought a ton of Daousts. Gretzky stopped using them when he was in St. Louis (switched to Tacks then swithced to Nikes when in NY)
