I bought my first kit of a friend of my uncles and it cost me £25, which is $48. It was pure and utter shit, but I loved it all the same :lol:

Helmet: Bauer 1000 with 1000 cage

Shoulder Pads: cant remember

Elbow: same as above.

Pants: Blue D&R's

Shin pads: D&R, like the type the police use in riots.

Skates: CCM 307 Mustangs

gloves: Red White & Blue Coopers

Stick: wooden Bauer Professional with no curve.

This was worn with a montreal canadiens shirt (cringe) as it was the only shirt I could get that matched the whole red, white and blue.

I started playing hockey when I was 3, sadly enough I remember what kind of gear I wore.

Helmet: CCM (Egg shaped looking thing)

Pants: Bauer pants with a flyers symbol on them

Stick: Titan (I still have this stick and it is only 22 inches long, didn't realize I was that small!)

Gloves: Some Gretzky gloves..dont remember the brand.

Helmet - a yellow Cooper SK 600

Neck Guard - this big thick white one with "Itech" written on it in about the biggest letters in history. It was huge - looked like I was wearing a turtleneck.

Shoulders/Shins/Elbows - some set of Jofa stuff

Pants - Black Hattem pants with about zero protection, and the thick white stripes down the side - I think my dad got them for like five bucks.

Gloves - Winwell

Skates - Bauer Chargers

Stick - a white/red Gretzky Titan (just like every single other kid in town)

Nike Quest Helmet(gumpy as hell)

I had that lid as well, and it was brutal to look at, but comfortable. I usually wore it with a cage, but was allowed to go without it in one league and got ripped on by most other teams for wearing a bucket on my head.

Then again, I'm currently wearing a gold itech, so things haven't changed much.
