Just bought Nike Flexlite 9 - thoughts?

Recommended Posts

So yesterday I bought a pair of Nike Flexlite 9s to replace my 8 year old Tacks. I'm a 35 yr old fart who plays about 3 times per month (not much I know but with a baby in the house whacha gonna do?). I'm a big guy (6 foot, 250 pounds - some muscle, some not :D ) . I wear a size 12 shoe and a wide foot so I got 10d skates.

I tried on ccm 892's and they felt good. I especially loved the skate lock. Then I tried on the Flexlites. They felt like a sneaker! So much lighter than I am used to.

Got a good deal on the Nikes (I think) - $150 plus tax.

So what do you think? Did I choose well?

thanks Trevor. Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on the 9's. I searched all over yesterday and couldn't find any reviews or opinions on them - only on the 10's or 12's.

i agree. you may have been able to pay a little more for a higher end nike skate, but if they feel wonderful then theyll be fine!

i have had 2 pairs of nike v12's and besides the holder's, i havent had any problems at all! i hope you enjoy your skates!

Just curious, but what holders come on these skates? BTW I just bought some flexlite 12's for $200. so I guess the 9's for $150 is ok. And so far I am in move with these skates! So light and smooth.
