Quick question about helmets

Anyone tried these 2 helmets or know which one is generally considered more comfortable, better protection, longer lasting etc.?

heres an idea, find a LHS, go in, ask them if they have the helmets you're looking for, try them on, decide which one you like better, buy it.

Before your so quick to criticize about not shopping at a local hockey store, first know this, I have spent close to $1000 on hockey gear in the last year at the 2 shops in my area, secondly, as most should know, it's next to impossible to find Jofa gear anywhere other than online.

I had the 652 first but found in pinched the sides of my fat head. I switched to the Jofa 690 and love it.

Same here. My 652 in a M was far too narrow, the 690 in M is perfect for my bulbous cranium.

I've heard the 690 is good for people with plus sized domes.

It's shape and not size. 690s are more rounded than most other helmets.

Actually, I'm thinking the 652 just fits smaller.. I have a 652 in L and it fit perfect, so thinking that CCM sizing was the same throughout the line, I got a HT500 in L and that is a lot bigger, I could definetly go with a M in the HT500.
