sorry.

Ummmm, As you can tell i dont know the area very well or even canada becasue im from the UK

I will be in lethbridge because my mate has family and i will be visiting.

Im not sure if its the road name or the city but its called Coutts(in canada) then over the border is Sweetgrass. Highway 15 if that helps?

The main reason i want to get the skates in the US is becasue its alot cheaper then the canadien prices!

I'm playing up in Whitefish (Flathead Valley - NW Montana) and the only shop option that is available here is a sporting goods store (Sportsmans). They carry middle of the line Easton and a few models of Graf skates with a couple of wood SherWoods on the side and that's it. I would recommend to buy all of the hockey equipment in Lethbridge due to selection options. You will overpay a little but at least you will get what fits and works for you the best. I was in the same boat as you this summer looking for new skates and ended up driving to Canada to get fitted, there just seems to be a big gap in knowledge and experience between Canada & Montana shops.

Regarding hockey: the season just started up on the 3rd of October. There will be A & B leagues throughout the season and plenty of drop-in and stick&puck sessions. Level of play varies from 1st year beginners to former NHL players. There is something for everyone here no matter what your skill level is. Let me know if you got any questions.

Awesome,

You dont know how excited i am to hear that. i just got off the phone with the director of the mens league in town and will definetly be doing that, but i would really like to get envolved in competitive hockey at a decent level again.Anything you can tell me about drop in games is very apreciated id love to get out of great falls on the weekends. Do theese leaugues have websites or can you give me some contacts anything is appreciated. getting involved with anything real crazy is most likely out of the question though, my squadron will be deploying in march or so.

No website unfortunately, but the guy you want to talk to is Andy. He is the commissioner of the league. Give him a call and tell him your situation and see what he has to say. I will be at the rink today and could get an e-mail address if you would prefer to get in contact with him that way.

Hey you guys know of any hockey shops in Alaska? You know something close to the Russian border. Don't know what city yet but list them all and I'll figure it out. Thanks.
