They're the same curve... Flex is a little different but besides that I thought it would be the same

I'm having a tough time gettin used to the sickick....

Why? and When will I get used to it...?

Because it is a different stick? An ST and a SickKick have different feels. That could be it. Or I suppose it could be the flex, but its not too much different. Different Sticks have different feels obviously. Your probably just not used to the feel of the SickKck yet compared to your ST.

How long will it take to get used to ?

Hard to say. Depends on how much you play with it. Or sometimes ppl cant get used to a new stick at all. That is why there are so many out there to choose from.

Ive used alot of sticks, but that doesnt affect anything.

Like I said it really depends on how much you use it, theres not a designated time table.

I've used 5 different sticks this year.

One I got used to first time out.

One I can't get used to at all.

The other 3 took me about a week to 2 weeks.

You may never adjust to the new stick... It may turn into your favorite stick.

It's a tough question to answer, but I wish you lots of luck.

Are they a different lie?

What exactly doesn't feel right? Are your shots not working? Are you loosing the puck off your blade?

The ST and the Sickick will have different kickpoints from the varying flex (especially if they're extended or cut), the blade structures will vary... any number of things.

Same exact curve and size

Shots not even close to the same... Wobbling with snap shot .... slap shot isnt the same

im guessing it's the flex if the only issues you're having are with shots. How old are you? how tall are you? how much do you weigh? The stick may be too stiff for you.

Feel, blade construction, etc. will affect your stickhandling and pass receptions as well. This is something that you would have to get used to with different sticks. Have you noticed any difficulties with these as well? The blade patterns are indeed identical, including lie, so there's no issue there.

I'ts not about flexing it in the sense of just putting your weight on it to bend it. You need to be able to flex the stick in the action of shooting. If you don't feel the stick bend a bit, especially on slap shots, it may be too stiff for you.

at 140 lbs, you should be able to make do with the 75, it may be a touch on the stiff side for you. In your next practice, work on really getting your weight in on your shots, and see if it improves at all. If you work at it, at the end of the day you'll have a better shot overall.

I used to use Sher-wood 5030's, first Coffey then Crosby.

Then I went to a Powertek Pulsation Sakic clone 90 flex. That was a quick transition for me.

Next, I got involved with Powertek as a U.S. sales rep.

Since then, I have used 2 of our other models, the Sensation took me about a week, the Sniper is too light for me personally.

I have also used a TPS Response XN-10 Mowers approx 95+ flex pro stock, my passing was good immediately, shooting took about a week and a half.

And finally, I used a Bauer Vapor XX Lindros? 87 flex? (I can't remember exactly), it took me about 2 weeks but was a pretty good all around stick when I did get used to it ( it was a loaner so I couldn't sand the grip coating off of it :) )
