Swiss17 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2007 I was foolin around one day and took a really old broken christian #1 stick, curved the blade identical to that (Kovalchuk), cut it off, shaved it down, put it in a shaft to try it, went to take a shot and it broke in half cuz the wood was all dried out haha. TBLfan 25 Report post Posted February 18, 2007 the curve I use is almost like the kovalchuk's. What's really nice about it is how it zips off the toe. It's very hard to read because the puck slides down the blade and just flies off the toe. With most blades it's almost a constant motion, with a toe curve it speeds up dramatically.
