Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 Hello, I might be heading to Boston during march break, so I did a search to find some of the good hockey shops, in my search I found that the bruins sell pro stock sticks at their rink, correct? I was wondering if they had a good selection and what the prices are like? I'm interested in picking up one of Marc Savards sticks if they have his and if the price is reasonable. Also is it just sticks they sell, or is there other gear? If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
whbd18 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 Try to make it out to the Pure Hockey in Braintree which is next to Boston. very good selection and Prices. Pure Hockey usually has tons of Pro return OPS.The Bruins Team Store only has sticks. Last I heard they were all $80, but when I was there they were $130. Kevin 5 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 The Bruins Pro Shop is hit or miss. Savard's sticks would not last long. Last time I checked (end of December), the shop did not have any sticks of the Bruins' top players, such as Savard.

It's about 25 minutes South of Boston (on the South Shore). as mentioned as well, the Bruins Pro Shop is hit or miss.. when I was there on January 19th, they had a handful of Warrior Mac Daddy ops' -used by both Savard, and Sturm... a pair of real nice AK27's used by Brad Stuart, a couple of Andrew Alberts Vapor XXX Lites, and a handful of RBK Sickicks. habookus 1 Report post Posted February 22, 2007 The Bruins pro shop usually has a pretty good selection. last year i picked up a Kevin Dallman Dolomite before they had hit the markets, and was there before new years this year and my bro bought a Hogan TPS lite. The pricing is pretty random with some brand new sticks costing less then broken ones. Usually around 80-90$ for sticks.
James 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2007 Thats because the price goes according to player, not the kind of stick.Jagr's stick would be a lot more than Barry Talakson's.
